18 Mar 20, All is well, keeping to myself and feeling good. Lot's of food in the freezer. I had bought to much TP prior to knowing there was going to be a rush on the stuff. I call that lucky and I'm wanting that good luck to stay with me!

All is well at Fort Hallowell, but.

 Amazing how social distancing  and wearing a mask became so political. The pandemic has become overshadowed by other very unfortunate events but is still killing our countrymen and members of our world family! I remain in awe at the reluctance of our leadership to have taken an early role in putting into place, a well crafted plan based on scientific priciples to fight this plague. Why did we  not  assume a  leadership role in bringing the world together to fight this common  enemy of all mankind? As other events unfold, I fear for the soul of our  democracy and long for the country that our fathers fought for in WWII.

 I am left in fear and grief as I watch expressionless men  overwhelm, suppress, and suffocate a fellow human being! The man dies, still no change in the perpertrators faces! There is no remorse or second thoughts on their faces as the coldly roll him onto a stretcher! There is no hurry or shame on their faces as they carry him away. There is no attempt at CPR, they have accomplished what they intended to do and it was done in a deadly concert by four men, sworn to defend and protect! There is more than one sickness about us!
