Braintree High School
Class of 1966

Hello Classmates,

As I sit here writing this, I am fondly remembering the great 70th Birthday Parties our class had this past September.  For me personally, it was a great chance to talk to and catch up with a lot of classmates that I didn't  really know all that well in high school.  It made me mad that I hadn't spent more time with them during those years; yet, it made me very thankful that I had the opportunity to get to talk with them and hear about their lives so many years later.

The recent parties were great!  I want to thank again all the members of our committee that did the planning, decorating, entertaining and gift giving.  Both the Granite Grill and Spazio's were once again great hosts for our Class of '66' get togethers.

The only thing that could have made these mini-reunions better, of course, would have been if everyone in our great high school class could have attended.  With that in mind, I want to ask everyone to make "long-distance" plans to come to our 55th Class Reunion, probably sometime in mid-September of 2021.  Stay tuned to this website as well for any plans/announcements regarding upcoming mini-reunions between now and 2021.  I hope you can all continue to post pictures, notes, high school anecdotes, etc. on this website about what is going on in your lives!  We all love reading about our friends, and about what continues to make our Class of 1966 so great!!!

Please contact anyone you know from our class who has not yet joined our website:                                                                                                                                and encourage them to join.  If you are on other social media sites, such as Facebook or,  encourage them to sign on.

Finally, if any of you ever change email addresses, home addresses, or phone numbers, please edit your profile if you wish, so we can stay in touch.

Sincerely and with great pride,

Tom Herget
