This was more like 1967. I was dating a girl named Chrissy (don't remember her last name) but after a bit we ended off. One day I was approached by some thug I believe named John Griffy or something similar to that, (a very serious individual) who asked me if I was dating her. I said we had dated but no longer. He told me that she belonged to him and if I ever saw her again he would put a bullet in my head. So much for that.

Several months later I ran into Charlie Harrington. He asked me if I knew Chrissy and I told him I did. He said that he had been dating her but some guy threatened to kill him if he didn't stop seeing her. He went on to say that he wasn't afraid of this guy and didn't take him seriously.

Three weeks later, Charlie Harrington's body was found in the middle of Liberty Street with a bullet in his head.
